I’m a solo indie developer running Yellow Ducky Apps, Ltd., and I take your privacy seriously. My apps and website are crafted to minimize the collection of personal data, focusing on simplicity and ethics, not corporate greed. I do not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information unless absolutely necessary for the functionality you request.

Yellow Ducky Apps’ apps may access certain data on your device, such as preferences or app-specific data, but this stays on your device or is synced via Apple’s iCloud service, governed by Apple’s privacy policy. The Company does not have access to this synced data.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may collect basic technical information like IP addresses for security and performance purposes, as per their privacy policy.

Emails sent to the Company are handled via Fastmail, and Yellow Ducky Apps only uses your email for responding to your inquiries.

The Company does not show ads, track you for marketing, or sell your data. If you contact Yellow Ducky Apps for support, the Company may receive logs or information you provide, but it handles them securely and deletes them when no longer needed.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or submitted on the Company’s website and apps for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS.

Information the Company Collects

Yellow Ducky Apps’ apps and services are designed to operate without requiring personal information. Accounts, if any, are created anonymously where possible.

The Company stores app preferences and user-generated data locally on your device. For synchronization across devices, Yellow Ducky Apps uses Apple’s iCloud service. This data is stored in iCloud and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy. The Company does not access or store this data on its servers.

Technical information, such as device type or app version, may be collected anonymously to improve the Company’s services.

Technical Basics

The Company’s website is hosted by Cloudflare (Privacy policy), which may log basic technical information such as your IP address for security, performance, and analytics purposes.

Emails are received via Fastmail (Privacy policy), and any data you provide in emails is used solely for communication.

If you enable synchronization in the Company’s apps, Yellow Ducky Apps uses Apple’s iCloud (Privacy policy) to store and sync app data across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.

The Company may use cookies or similar technologies on its website to enhance user experience, such as keeping you logged in if applicable.

Yellow Ducky Apps’ server software may store basic technical information, such as IP addresses, in temporary memory or logs for operational purposes.

Ads and Analytics

The Company does not display ads in its apps or on its website. Yellow Ducky Apps may collect aggregate, anonymous statistics about app usage to improve its products, but no personal data is involved.

Any data synced via iCloud is protected by Apple’s security measures.

You can access, change, or delete your data directly within the Company’s apps or by contacting Yellow Ducky Apps. For iCloud-synced data, manage it through your Apple ID settings.

The Company may retain deleted information in backups for a reasonable period, but backups are secured.

Yellow Ducky Apps may delete your information at any time for any reason, such as technical needs or legal concerns.
