The Start

Hello. This is the official blog of Yellow Ducky Apps. Today is the launch of my company. I founded it in July 2025. I am a solo indie developer. I want to share what I do.

Who I Am and What I Stand For

At Yellow Ducky Apps, I aim to make good apps. Many basic apps now have subscriptions, ads, tracking, AI features, and patterns that keep you using them. I choose to build differently. I create essential apps for Apple platforms: iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.

Here is what makes my work different:

• No Subscriptions: You pay once. You own the app forever. There are no recurring fees.
• Ad-Free Experience: I do not add ads. They distract you. You will not see banners, pop-ups, or sponsored items.
• Privacy First: Your data stays on your device. I do not track or sell it. Apps work offline by default.
• No AI or Dark Patterns: I focus on clear functions that help you. I avoid algorithms that use your habits.
• Simple and Essential: I build apps that fix real problems. They have clean interfaces. They perform well. I design them for users.

I show that good software can be ethical, cheap, and lasting. This is not a big company. It is just me. I make apps that are practical and basic (in the good sense of the word).
